  • Overview

    This position is responsible to provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. This role requires answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, and requisition of supplies


    • Answer telephone and direct the caller to the appropriate associate. Transfer a caller to an associate’s voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable
    • Greet and direct visitors to the company
    • Take and retrieve messages for various personnel
    • Provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information
    • Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications
    • Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
    • Assist in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
    • May assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating
    • Handling mortgage payments via cash, credit card, check and money orders
    • Balancing cash drawer
    • Maintaining a positive culture as an ambassador of UHM.

    Education & Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Payment processing/cash handling experience preferred
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Able to work collectively with the administrative team associates
    • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
