  • Overview

    The Vendor Manager will be responsible for coordinating the initial approval and renewal processes for vendors. 


    • Coordinating the review and approval process for new vendors, including vendor vetting, deal negotiation, legal review and document execution.
    • Completing the vetting process for all new vendors, including obtaining and reviewing references, background checks, financial statements, and other due diligence, as appropriate.
    • Negotiating price and terms with the vendor
    • Coordinating the review and renewal process for existing vendors, including due diligence, deal negotiation, legal review and document execution.
    • Completing the appropriate due diligence prior to renewal to confirm it is in UHM’s best interest to continue working with the vendor.
    • Negotiating renewal price and terms with the vendor
    • Additional duties may arise once the department develops

    Education & Qualifications

    • 3-5 years managing vendor relationships or 5 years accounts payable experience
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
